Finance Manager is required by CameraPro, a leading photographic retailer whose innovative approach has seen them enjoy rapid growth and won them numerous awards, earning them a position as becoming a key go to destination for professional and enthusiast photographers Australia Wide.

Finance manager reports to Managing Director. It is a dynamic role that will provide  you an opportunity for the right candidate to join the Leadership Team of this QLD based Multi-Channel retailer in their head office in Brisbane's inner suburbs. 

By this position, as Finance Manager, you will work to provide Intelligence and insight into Sales & product performance, ensure intelligence is correct and up to date in relation to purchasing and supplier management, as well as provide forecasts on working capital, and finally provide analysis of logistics as well as intelligence and insights into key operations functions. 

Requirements for Finance Manager

You have at least 5 years experiences at a Finance Manager level or higher in a business focused around Retail/E-commerce Wholesale or FMCG industries, and experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment.

Significant experience and exposure to vendor management and strong background in a public practice in taxation are highly regarded. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily and month-end processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare annual and quarterly financial budgets and forecasts - P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Reviewing finance processes, providing and implementing solutions to improve the finance function
• Implementing controls and procedures where required
• Overseeing assistant accountants to continue to achieve accounting and reporting requirements, and to meet statutory reporting, compliance (ATO, ASIC) and analysis requirements
• Developing models to ensure best practice decision making for inventory management
• Conducting in season reporting on stock performance
• Providing market and competition analysis for senior management
• Manage and report on company and employee KPIs, and perform analysis on development or strength factors.
• Working closely with the Directors to develop and accomplish the key business goals and strategic plans (including investment, property acquisition, company/group entity structure, forex strategy)
• Managing external relationships and key point of contact for any financial related matters  - auditors, tax office etc.
• Manage company HRP (HR and payroll) functions, possible acting as internal HR coordinator.

Skills & Qualifications:  

• Demonstrated capability to proactively contribute in multi-disciplinary teams, with the ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
• Be highly proactive, demonstrate initiative, possess problem solving and analytical skills.
• High degree of accuracy and time management skills; including meeting critical deadlines.
• Adaptability to work within changing environments of a fast growing business
• Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably with Netsuite or similar.
• Qualifications and practical experience in Finance Management. 
• Experience in a similar role, including proven experience in team management and leadership.
• CA or CPA qualified
